Fund Raising
The Kitsap County Deputy Sheriff's Guild raises funds by hosting public events each year. The proceeds of these two fund-raisers are split 50/50 into a Donation Account and a Guild account. From the Donation Account, Guild members or the Executive Board review various donation requests and donate accordingly. For the past several years, the Guild has donated well over the 50% required by our By-Laws, as we see supporting community organizations and charities as extremely important. The Guild portion of the fund-raising proceeds generally go to support Guild family and children's activities, as well as benefits for our retiring members. NOTICE: The Kitsap County Deputy Sheriff's Guild is a non-profit organization, section 501(C)(5). Donations to the Guild are NOT tax deductible as charitable contributions. You can see a list of donation recipients by clicking on Donation Recipients under the Donations menu. The deputies of the Guild wish to thank you for supporting our yearly fund-raising activities.
